This 3-part progressive catching program is intended for each of the sessions to build on the previous one, therefore we request the players to commit to attending all three sessions. Coach Sara will review elements of the catchers gear, positioning behind the plate, safety, getting the ball back to the pitcher, throwing to 2nd & 3rd, and more. Space is limited to a maximum of 6 players in each of the groupings, Beginner (ages 6-8) and Experienced (ages 9-12).
First Bast Clinic with Coach Russ Joseph
This clinic will be conducted over 3 weeks and is free to all athletes. Each lesson will be offered twice on 3 consecutive Saturdays. Each session will build on the skills learned in the previous session. Players should participate in all 3 clinics to sharpen their skills for the upcoming season. The clinics will be taught by Russ Joseph, former coach of St. John’s Episcopal School and current CAPO Girls Softball Umpire in Chief.
