Description: In this clinic we will be working on the most important things about playing the Catcher's position. We will be focusing on receiving pitches, throwing, footwork, quick hands, bunts, blocking, and other situational plays. Please come prepared to work at a quick pace so we can fit in as much as possible, work hard, and most importantly have fun.

About the Clinic:  Space is limited. There is no charge to participate but we ask that if you sign up and can not attend, please email [email protected] so someone else can attend in your place.

Location: Cooks, Field 1

Requirements: You must be registered for the CAPO Spring 2023 season. Balls will be provided.

When: Saturday, January 21, 2023.

8U - 1:00pm

10U & 12U - 2pm

What To Bring: Bring a glove, catcher's gear (if you don't own, please bring your regular Batting Helmet), and your Water Bottle.

Who: Coach Sara Scobee comes to us with an accomplished playing career. She played on the USA Elite Softball Team and Represented the USA in the first World series Championship. After graduating High School as a 4-year Varsity Letter, Sara earned SEC Freshman of the Year honors at Auburn University. Throughout college, Sara was named SEC Player of the Week multiple times, and once again graduated as a 4-year Varsity Letter. In 2004, Sara was named to the First Team All-Region and Third Team All-American.
